These are views of the Hudson River in New York. I invite you to use these to inspire you to write. A thought, a feeling that comes to mind, a memory, whatever you wish. Give yourself permission to rest your eyes on simply beauty and listen to the whisperings of your soul.

This is Duke. You can see in this photo how skinny he was. Our super Vet Dr. Jeff estimated his age at seven. This was the first adult dog rescue we ever had, and I must tell you, it has been a joy. Duke seems to know he was rescued, he has been the gentlest, easiest dog to train we’ve ever had. Now I admit I LOVE puppies, but they are work – after all they are babies and need A LOT of attention. But ever since we saw the first picture of Duke, found starving in the woods in Mississippi – and brought to us by extraordinary animal rescue folks – he has changed my whole view of adopting older animals. Today Duke is 90 lbs and thinks he’s a lap dog!
OK, I’m still working through the tutorials – but I think I’ve got the adding the photos/comments to my blog. Thank YOU dear reader for your patience and understanding!
